ZAJAC BREAKS 13-YEAR OLD 5K RECORD AT NOTRE DAME INVITEPublished by
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - IUPUI fifth-year senior standout Rachel Zajac broke a nearly 13-year old 5K record on Friday (Oct. 4), running the Notre Dame Invitational Gold Race in a time of 17:57.2. The St. John, Ind.-native broke the record by almost eight seconds, finishing the race in 13th of 212 runners.
