INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI men's golfer Rob van de Vin, volleyball standout Alexis Meeks and runner Rachel Zajac have been named the 2013-14 Melvyn Garland Distinguished Student-Athlete award winners as the department announced its major award winners on Thursday (May 1) night. Additionally, van de Vin collected the Jaguars Athletics Club Academic Achievement Award while #Kristin Pierce# (women's soccer) and #Lindsey Richards# (softball) shared the Dorothy Cheesman Award.
